As a freelance copywriter, I have a passion for developing compelling and successful content. I craft creative marketing, advertising, PR, and Web copy, including SEO writing, content marketing, and social media content. In a nutshell: I craft messaging that creates action. My expertise lies in making ordinary words do extraordinary things – like make money.
What drives me is helping entrepreneurs and businesses – small and large – figure out what they want to say, and how they want to say it. I’m equally comfortable with both consumer (B2C) and business (B2B) audiences, and can write in a variety of voices, from highly technical to light and quirky.
A little about how I got here.
I earned a BA in political science from Seton Hall University with all intentions of attending law school upon graduation. And then life happened (that’s my way of describing the Great Recession). Thus, my career in marketing began. I spent a few years as a city-dweller in Washington, DC and New York City working for an association management firm where I helped trade associations, professional organizations, and non-profits successfully grow their memberships. One of my favorite parts of the job was serving as the membership director for New York Women in Communications where I met and worked with ridiculously talented lady bosses all day.
I eventually made my way to the suburbs to settle down and worked as a marketing and communications manager for a global real estate franchisor. I spent my days writing and curating content for 300+ independently owned and operated companies throughout the world. From print and digital marketing campaigns to advertising and public relations efforts, my days were never dull and my writing skills sharpened with each project.
Realizing I had a knack for writing about topics I previously knew nothing about, I decided to make the leap into the exciting and lucrative world of freelance writing. After all, once you tackle commercial real estate, is there really any topic you can’t handle?
